Jade is a modular outdoor furniture system that bridges Scandinavian minimalism with Caribbean vitality. Inspired by the resilient jade plant (Crassula ovata)—a symbol of endurance, care, and quiet growth—this design reflects Morales’s dual upbringing and her aim to infuse nature into urban living.
The system transforms in two orientations: a vertical totem-like planter that brings greenery to compact patios, and a horizontal bench with integrated planters that invites conversation, rest, and care. Embracing a philosophy of reusability and adaptability, Jade’s modular components turn underutilized spaces into vibrant micro-oases, embodying a “living gesture” that pays tribute to the Dominican love of nature and outdoor social life.
