Pausa is a sculptural, hammock-inspired lounge chair designed as a proposal for Cassina, reinterpreting an ancestral form of relaxation through a modern design lens. Lightweight and easy to assemble, the piece invites gentle interaction rather than static sitting, serving as both a personal retreat in a cozy corner and a striking visual statement in open living spaces. SAMELIA distills the traditional hammock to its essential gestures, creating an object of calm, spatial balance, and modern warmth.
